UTD 1.4 Phase-Out: 12/15/2016
To ensure the highest level of compatibility among SATA products, the SATA-IO will phase-out the SATA UTD v1.4 testing guidelines by December 15, 2016. After that date, SATA-IO qualified independent test labs and self-certified companies may only submit test results for products per the UTD v1.5 testing guidelines.
