Join SATA-IO at IDF San Francisco: Sept 13-15, 2010
This fall SATA-IO will once again be exhibiting at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco, California. IDF is a key tradeshow for SATA-IO and an excellent opportunity for member companies to collaborate to highlight SATA technologies and products.

The marketing workgroup (MWG) is beginning the IDF planning process now! If you are interested in helping plan SATA-IO’s presence at IDF, or if you have a SATA product you’d like to highlight at the show, please contact MWG chair, Conrad Maxwell, or SATA-IO’s PR team today.

Call For Product Photos:
As part of our IDF promotion we are specifically looking for high-resolution images of SATA products from our members. If you have an image you can share, please contact administration@sata-io.org.

Have an mSATA Product You'd Like to Highlight? Let us Help!
Last September, SATA-IO announced the mSATA specification for small form factor applications. About the size of a business card, mSATA leverages the speed and reliability of the SATA interface to provide a high-performance, cost-effective storage solution for smaller devices like notebooks and netbooks.

Since the announcement of mSATA several member companies have begun developing products using the new connector interface. Lenovo, Samsung, SanDisk and Toshiba, who initiated the mSATA specification work within SATA-IO, are all supporting the interface.

To continue promoting mSATA, SATA-IO would love to highlight mSATA products on its website. If your company has an mSATA product you’d like to include, please contact our PR team and let us know!

Help Us Improve SATA-IO Interoperability Events
SATA-IO is interested in finding ways to improve the effectiveness and member participation levels of our Interoperability Workshop and Plugfest events. In order to collect information, we’ve created a brief survey. The answers received from this survey will help us plan our future events.

Please take a few moments to give us some feedback on how we can improve your experience with our testing events.

To take the survey, click here, or copy and paste this link into your browser (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/interopsurvey).
